Lessons for India from France violence

The riots and looting erupted in France after a 16-year-old boy was killed in cold blood by police officers for violating traffic laws.

The outcry for justice quickly turned violent. Cars, buildings, and shops were set ablaze, and innocent civilians were attacked.

What is the right thing to do? Should the police officer be punished? Is this a riot that demands justice? Let’s see what the world has to say about this.

ACTUAL REASON OF FRANCE VIOLENCE

When questioned about the violent protests that took place in response to the death of Nahel, her grandmother asserted that these protests had no bearing on the circumstances of her daughter’s death. In response, rioters are taking advantage of this opportunity to protest France’s new legislation on immigration control, which seeks to expel foreign nationals who have committed crimes, and to require applicants to possess a French language proficiency in order to be granted residence permits. This legislation was created in response to the refusal of immigrants from Muslim nations to integrate into the French society, insisting on preserving their unique identity.

SWEDEN ARE FRANCE ARE FIRST VICTIMS

France took in hundreds of thousands of immigrants throughout the 19th and 20th centuries and provided them with homes and jobs. Sweden has historically provided asylum to refugees, primarily from Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

France has erupted on many occasions in the last six decades. On most occasions, the violence was linked to immigrants. Ever since the influx of asylum seekers, records detail an uptick in violent crimes, including bombings, rapes, and gang violence.

THE WARNING

In 2017, the former Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates warned that the day would come when we would face a surge in the number of radical extrimists and terrorists from Europe due to a lack of decision-making, a desire to be politically correct, or a belief that they are more knowledgeable about the Middle East, Islam, and the world than we are. This is a prediction that is now being borne out. In addition, many countries are facing the exploitation of migrants, with numerous cases of rape reported in the United Kingdom; a recent incident in Greece has sparked a violent protest.

EUROPE REFUSED TO LEARN

Meanwhile, as Paris continues to burn, the European Union continues to push for loosening immigration rules in member countries, allowing asylum-seekers to enter easily.

Only Hungarian and Polish leaders are opposing this suicide plan, which threatens to plunge more and more European capitals into the same quagmire that Paris is in.

In Poland, the authorities have made it clear that they will not accept any Muslim migrants.

MULTI CULTURSIM FOSTER EXTREMIST IDEOLOGY

David Cameron, the former British Prime Minister, asserted that multiculturalism is a breeding ground for extremist ideologies and is a major factor in the emergence of homegrown Islamic terrorism.

If immigrants are unable to assimilate into the culture of their host country, or if their culture is not compatible with that of the host country, then conflict is inevitable.

It is true that migrants face racism and all forms of discrimination, but violence is not the solution.

LESSON OF INDIA AND THE WORLD

Since India’s independence, illegal immigration into the country has been on the rise. This has resulted in lakhs of undocumented immigrants crossing the border and settling in the border states, leading to conflict between the local population and the migrants. Additionally, many Rohingya Muslims enter the country from the Bengal border and are often provided with false voter ID cards and encouraged to vote in the upcoming elections. This has also been a contributing factor to the recent violence in Manipur. Consequently, India and the world must implement a robust immigration policy.
