Thailand: A Must Visit Country

Located in the heart of mainland Southeast Asia, Thailand is entirely in the tropics and is home to a variety of ecosystems, such as the hilly forests of the northern border, the abundant rice paddies of central plains, the vast plateau of northeast, and the rocky shores of the narrow southern peninsula.Until the 1950s, Thailand was mainly an agricultural nation, but from the 1960s, more and more people began to emigrate to the capital, Bangkok, as well as to other cities in the country. The larger metropolitan area of Bangkok remains the country’s most important urban centre, but there are other large cities in the north and northeast, as well as in the southeast and the far south, including Chiang Mai and other cities in the Khorat region.

Why Thailand is so famous for?

One of the world’s oldest Buddhist countries, Thailand, with its lush jungles, mountain ranges, archipelagos, and bustling cities, is adorned with the gilded peaks of its countless temples and spirit homes. Many of the country’s most iconic sites, home to its most beloved buddhas and sacred places, are located in and around Bangkok.

Is Thailand expensive

Thailand is not expensive. In fact, it’s one of the most affordable countries to visit. You can get a full meal at a roadside stall for 1-2 USD, a room in a nice guest house for 10USD or less, and a bus or subway ride for less than 1USD. For better quality, prices go up, but they’re still very affordable compared to western countries.

Thailand can suit all budgets, from moderate to luxury. For a medium budget, you can expect to spend around US$150-200 USD per day per person. This includes 4-star hotels and airfares, as well as attractions, guides and transfers. For a higher budget (US$200-250/day per person), you can enjoy more comfort.

A 2-week family trip in Thailand or Southeast Asia (excluding international flights from and to America or Europe) typically costs US$10000 – 15000 per family.
