WEAR YOUR CULTURE AS A BADGE OF HONOUR

Culture

As times have changed and our society has become more modern, many of us have forgotten our origins. Cultures provide us with a sense of identity, reminding us of who we were and where we originated from. While it is important to adapt to changing times, we should not overlook the positive aspects of our culture that have always existed. Protecting our culture is important for our identity.

CELEBRATE YOUR FESTIVALS WITH ENTHUSIASM

Adult life has caught up with us and we are beginning to lose our enthusiasm for festivals. However, what is the cause of this? Is it that our brains have conditioned us not to celebrate festivals in the same manner as we did as children, simply because we are now adults?

Perhaps, but the truth of the matter is that our festivals teach us a way of life, bring us together and make us feel part of a larger community. Celebrate with joy!

DON’T HESITATE IN TALKING IN YOUR NATIVE ACCENT.

Everyone has an accent, and it is important to be proud of it rather than trying to imitate it in order to be accepted by Westerners. When a Spaniard speaks in their accent, it is perceived as sexy. Similarly, when an Indian speaks in a language other than their native language, such as Wa-tar, it is seen as a sign of racism. This is a double standard.

You can speak however you wish without pretending. They will never learn how to correctly pronounce your name, so why should you?

STAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR ROOTS.

When considering the religious beliefs of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), it can be difficult to understand why they remain so religious despite the fact that they are surrounded by foreign nationals. This is because they remain attached to their roots, which is what gives them their identity. In a foreign country, NRIs are identified by their cultural identity, which distinguishes them from the general population. It is important to remember that no matter where one is from, they should never forget their origin.

DON’T LIVE IN IGNORANCE, EDUCATE YOURSELF ABOUT YOUR HISTORY.

We are a generation that is very uneducated in the field of history. There will be some people who will argue that, “Why should I recall what has already happened? How will it affect the future?” There is a saying that says, “Those who cannot recall the past are doomed to repeat it.”

Besides, the history of India is so rich that any Indian should be proud of it. Don’t live in ignorance. Learn your history.

RESPECT EVERY CULTURE BUT NEVER FORGET YOUR OWN

It is commendable to appreciate other cultures and religions, however, it should not be done at the expense of disregarding our own. I am not referring to religion, but rather culture, which is a wider concept.

Whilst there is nothing wrong with celebrating Western culture, it is important to ensure that Indian culture does not die out in the meantime.

CONCLUSION

In the conclusion that we should not forgot our roots and never hesitate to celebrate our culture or festival.
Being modern day by day is not wrong but forgetting our culture with being modern is absolutely wrong.
Why we are loosing our intrest in celebrating festival with same enthusiasm as we used to in our childhood just because we being adult now.
