Apple has opened its first stores in India and their employees are getting paid four times more than other tech brands. They’re getting around Rs 1 lakh a month, which is way more than what other companies are paying their employees. To manage their two stores, Apple hired 170 people from different industries, like electric engineering, robotics, and computer applications. They also hired people who are linguistically diverse to be part of their Indian workforce. And that’s not all – Apple is planning to double and triple their investments in India and export it to the rest of the world, according to Reuters. Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, met with India’s Prime Minister in New Delhi to discuss plans to expand their business and manufacturing presence in India.
