Apple launched their India’s first store in Mumbai in

The wait is finally over! India’s first Apple Store has officially opened in Mumbai’s Bandra, with CEO Tim Cook welcoming customers.

Just hours after the store’s grand opening, Cook said the energy in Mumbai was “incredible”, adding, “The energy, creativity and passion in Mumbai are incredible!”

“We’re thrilled to open our first Apple BKC store in India,” Cook said.

Apple stores are designed to provide customers with a high-quality experience by serving as a single point of sale for products, services, and accessories. They are also eye-catching architectural marvels that add to the overall customer experience.

The grand opening of Apple’s two stores in India has been met with immense fanfare, particularly among users of Apple products. People have flocked from all over the country, including Gujarat, Rajasthan, and other states, to watch the grand opening.

A customer from Rajasthan said, “I’m excited because I might meet Tim Cook and I’ve used Apple products for the last 10 years. I think I’ll buy something (today) but I don’t know yet.” The fan said he flew from Rajasthan from Mumbai to Delhi for the grand opening of Apple’s second shop in Saket. “Apple devices have helped me a lot in my life,” he said.

Apple’s retail expansion in India comes at a time when the tech giant has a 4 per cent market share in India’s massive smartphone market, which is dominated by China and South Korea, mainly due to high product prices. The company has shifted its focus to retail expansion in India, which is the world’s second-largest mobile phone market, and has begun expanding its local manufacturing presence.
